To qualify for the RWR+ Card as a Ukrainian, you must meet these key requirements:
1. Employment History
- 12 months of fully insured employment within the last 24 months
- Work must be above the minor employment threshold (2025: €551.10/month)
- Self-employment counts if you paid into SVS (above €6,613.22 for 2025)
2. Language Skills
- German A1 level certificate from an authorized institution (ÖIF, ÖSD, Goethe, or Telc); with level A2 or better, you can apply for a card that is valid for 3 years
- Certificate must be less than 1 year old

- Married/partnered couples: €2,009.85/month net (combined)
- Additional €196.57/month per child
- You must not be receiving Grundversorgung when applying
